Not sure what to bring to your Thanksgiving festivities next week? Tired of bringing the same casserole dish every year? We’ve got the solution for you! This homemade pumpkin fudge is a family favorite that has become a tradition. Even if you don’t particularly enjoy the taste of pumpkin, odds are you will still love this dessert!
Follow the recipe below and let us know what you think!
Ingredients
3 cups sugar
¾ cup melted butter
2/3 cup evaporated milk
½ cup canned pumpkin
2 Tbsp corn syrup
1 tsp pumpkin pie spice
1 – 7 oz jar marshmallow creme
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 – 12 oz package of white chocolate chips
Directions
Line 9-inch pan with parchment before you start.
Mix first six ingredients in a heavy saucepan, then bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Place candy thermometer in pan and cook until temperature reaches 234 degrees, about 12 min, stirring the entire time.
Remove from heat: stir in marshmallow creme and vanilla until well blended. Add white chocolate chips – you can stir until these are melted, but I like to just mix until they are incorporated, so you have little chunks of white chocolate in the fudge. Pour into pan. Let stand until completely cooled.
Slice into cubes and enjoy!
